Container Shipping To Australia from UK
Melbourne is at the heart of Australia’s import and export business. Fastlane specialises in giving you the fastest possible transit time. Fastlane have minimised the expense and maximised the service you receive allowing you to feel at ease throughout the whole process. Apart from Melbourne, we can also ship to Brisbane, Fremantle, port Kembla and Sydney.

Exporting to Melbourne can be very expensive therefore Fastlane offer a shared container. This then allows for your goods to be shipped with the same quality at only a percentage of the price. This is good for business. It allows all types of machinery to be shipped at only a percentage of the price of a whole container.
Fastlane can ship almost any type of machinery from car engines to oil pipelines. This allows all trade to take advantage of the fast, effective and outstanding service we can provide week in week out.
Shipping personal effects in containers
Personal effects would usually be house hold items. Fastlane offer 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high cube (sizes given below) containers to cover all possible shipment to Australia. However if there are just a few things that you want to ship there is always the shared container option. This is the ability to only pay a fraction of the price but maintain the quality service.
Not only is it better for you financially it eases the economic footprint you leave behind. Between the quality service and the low prices you will not have to worry one bit about your shipment.

Please note following are the steps for clearance and collection of your vehicle:
- You will need to provide us with the required documents in order for us to arrange the Customs Clearance. These documents are required 1 week prior to the vessel arrival. If documents are received any later than this than extra charges will be incurred.
- Once the vehicle is discharged from the vessel it will be inspected by Australian Quarantine and they will determine if the vehicle needs to be steam cleaned. 99% of vehicles arriving into Australia are deemed by Quarantine to require steam cleaning. The cost of this steam clean will be passed onto you.
- Once the vehicle is cleaned and approved by Customs we will notify you and advise the final charges payable. These charges must be paid to us before we will authorise release of your vehicle.
- Once we authorise release of the vehicle you will need to arrange for your transport company to collect the vehicle from AAT in Port Kembla. The transport company must have a MISC card which allows them to enter the port facility to collect your vehicle.
