Australian Port Charges-

Valuation fee is used to calculate Duty & GST for personal importations, or when a value cannot be determined or when requested by customs.

Additional Fees may apply for projects and extra work undertaken to clear cargo through ACS/AQIS. E.g. 71E or B200 movement permissions/Steam Cleaning/Unpacks/Customs Examinations/Bond Fees/ Fumigation etc.

Letter of Authority.

Please note following are the steps for clearance and collection of your vehicle:

1. You will need to provide us with the required documents in order for us to arrange the Customs Clearance.  These documents are required 1 week prior to the vessel arrival.  If documents are received any later than this than extra charges will be incurred.
2. Once the vehicle is discharged from the vessel it will be inspected by Australian Quarantine and they will determine if the vehicle needs to be steam cleaned.  99% of vehicles arriving into Australia are deemed by Quarantine to require steam cleaning.  The cost of this steam clean will be passed onto you.
3. Once the vehicle is cleaned and approved by Customs we will notify you and advise the final charges payable.  These charges must be paid to us before we will authorise release of your vehicle.
4.  Once we authorise release of the vehicle you will need to arrange for your transport company to collect the vehicle from AAT in Port Kembla.  The transport company must have a MISC card which allows them to enter the port facility to collect your vehicle.
