For those clients wishing to ship items that would not fill up a standard container, Fastlane offer a reliable shared container shipping service (also known as LCL/ Groupage). The items will be loaded in a container already loaded with goods belonging to other companies and the cost will then be divided between the companies. This method of container sharing has proved very popular in recent years due to the fact that the cost of shipping goods in a container is greatly reduced.
Shipping personal effects in containers
For home movers wishing to relocate to Bogota, Fastlane can ship your furniture and effects in a 20 or 40 foot sole use container. The container will be bought to your address for three hours to enable you to pack the goods into the container. Once you have finished loading the goods, the container will be delivered back to Southampton or Felixstowe port for shipping to Bogota.
For clients not wishing to hire a full container, Fastlane now also offer shared container service (groupage/LCL) to Bogota. Your personal goods will be measured and loaded into a shared container and all you will have to pay for is the amount of space you occupy in the container.
